Founder & Artist

I’m a lifelong artist with a background as an illustrator, calligrapher, and award-winning sculptor. I formally trained at McMaster University’s School of the Arts, majoring in ceramic sculpture and traditional printmaking.

With a whimsical sensibility, love of color, and keen eye for what my clients really want (but may not be able to articulate just yet), I approach each project with open-hearted creativity.

I also bring technical knowledge in a wide variety of print methods to my custom stationery designs, guiding my clients through an unlimited range of options and finishes for truly unique personalized stationery and design projects.

I create from my studio in the gorgeous wilds of Ontario, where I draw inspiration from my sprawling garden beds filled with flowers of every hue, endless miles of forest paths lined with birdsong, and the haunting, cozy beauty of life in the north.

I believe in the power of the physical object. The soft texture of cotton paper, the colors of the ink, the weight of an envelope in your hand—these sensory details ground us in the present moment. I design for the senses, creating pieces that ask to be touched and held.

The Spirit of Hospitality

True craftsmanship cannot be rushed. I champion the "slow design" movement, taking the time to obsess over the kerning of a font, the mixing of a custom ink, and iterating the perfect design. I believe that the energy put into the creation of an object is felt by the person who receives it.

I am inspired by the natural world, hidden gems, history, art, architecture, family lore. I strive to create designs that possess a classic endurance which will never go out of style, balancing of-the-moment emotions with cherished memories and traditions new and old.
